| was reflecting that basically with my Synthetarium or better say, in frames of it, even I don't like word frames, I was rethinking of modern still life and landscape. And those plastic super market fruits came by to my memory together with trees in Super Mario games. It was so many years ago and still it's actual over and over again.
Plus I have realized that I am not exception and can put myself among those artists who have been inspired by video game Super Mario. Eventually, my parents were aware that it's a game changer those times and kids sell all to get it, so l didn't have it at home not to become obsessed))) but my neighbour had. Even we didn't communicate as friends I had enough guts to ask him all the time to share it with me. After some time I have lost interest, so strategy of parents worked.
But I didn't forget the ambience of that game. It was safe, adventurous, no violence and no abuse, just fun and I don't know - kindness. Probably same as with « tanchiki »))) but it's another story. Well, let's come back to Super Mario. When I approached my landscape visualisation I have realised I want that synthetic trees from Super Mario, in a more adjusted to texture of #synthetarium, but definitely with same ombre of safely and innocent childhood. And Voila, Super Mario, Super market and David Hockney helped to accomplish the mission. Oh yes, how David Hockney participated, it's very oovious- as now there is a huge retrospective of his works (400 +) in FondationLV and my friends sending me some, which I admire. As Hockney was always one of my favourite artist and he was the last piece in the puzzle.
Current state of my landscape is in digital format with Al editing, next format should be oil on canvas, so far I dont know when.
Eventually, same concept I will use for still life.
Finally, I want to add that I feel certain revelations as most important is not to push harder for staying original (however it's crucial) but to stay authenticall and tell your story.
Till present times never had video games at home))) but it's okay to ask to join and not that addictive.

Kryvych is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist born in Kyiv, who studied art in both Kyiv and Madrid. Anna explores the mechanisms of human interaction with the world through artistic practice. Her works reveal deeper layers of reality, truth, and existence. She investigates themes of dehumanization, estrangement from nature, and immersion into artificial constructs that distort our connection to the essence of life. By creating visual narratives that resonate with philosophical and apocalyptic concepts, Anna seeks to uncover the hidden forces shaping human experience — particularly through the lens of presence and the exploration of extreme existential boundaries.
Working across painting, sculpture, and object-based installation, she reflects on the shifting boundary between the real and the simulated, the living body and its artificial extinction. Her recent works engage with themes of posthuman ecology, chromatic surfaces, and speculative anatomies — including chrome-finished animals, robots, and hybrid beings suspended between evolution and erasure. She often incorporates vacuum-sealed objects, metallic textures, and artificial skins to explore how presence can become a trace, and how nature begins to perform itself as image.
Kryvych’s artistic inquiry is guided by questions such as:
– What happens to corporeality in a world where everything can be copied?
– Can art still function as a site of resistance in a culture of seamless simulation?
– And is true desire still possible when experience is endlessly reproduced?
Her work has been exhibited in Madrid, Zurich, and the Museum of the History of Kyiv, as well as in numerous group and solo exhibitions across Ukraine and Europe. Recent exhibitions include The Sea (Stable Gallery, Vienna), Fragments (Eye Sea Gallery, Kyiv), Please softer (Octo Gallery, Kyiv), and Spanish Group Exhibition (Galeria Lanza Art, Madrid).
Kryvych’s works are part of private collections in Ukraine, Spain, and Switzerland.
